Bereavment Policy & Compassionate Leave
Adaptable Travel is fully committed to supporting all those affected by loss and death in a supportive and caring environment in which everyone can respond appropriately to individual circumstances. An employer does not have to pay an employee for this time away from work but Adaptable Travel wish to support people through any difficult times and as such will pay up to 5 working days compassionate leave, and will exercise discretion in each case.
In order to offer an appropriate response to allow you to deal with the circumstances, Adaptable Travel may be in contact to liaise with you on how you would like to stay in contact, how much information should be given to colleagues and work with you to ensure you return to work when you are ready.
