Suggested Itinerary

Fly to San Francisco where a guide will meet you at the airport and transfer you to your hotel in San Francisco. In the evening you will have free.

Guided tour of San Francisco, including Union Square, China Town, the Golden Gate Bridge, and Fisherman’s Wharf. You will then transfer to Oakhurst in the afternoon for an overnight stay.

Visit Yosemite National Park, learning more about the formation of this U-shaped valley. Visit Mirror Lake and take learn about the granite landforms El Capitan and Sentinel Dome. Continue your journey for an overnight stay in Bakersfield.

Travel to Las Vegas to explore the bright lights of one of the USA’s famous Mega Cities. Take a city tour to consider topics such as tourism and water resource management. Stay overnight in Las Vegas.

Visit the Grand Canyon National Park, head over to the visitor center and then take a walk along the “Rim Trail”. Consider how the many years of erosion by the mighty Colorado River has carved this unique deep and wide gorge landscape. Continue on route for an overnight stay in Kingman.

In the morning transfer to Los Angeles, another one of the USA’s megacities. Take a tour of the main sites including the Hollywood Hills, Rodeo Drive, and the beaches and pier of Santa Monica.

Free time in the morning, before you transfer to Los Angeles airport for your return flight home.

Arrive back in the UK.
