Perhaps the most well known of the USA’s National Parks, the Grand Canyon, is one of the symbols of the South West of the USA, a powerful and inspiring landscape, that will overwhelms visitors just through its immense size. Its unique geology and landforms decorate the canyon that is 277 river miles (446km) long, up to 18 miles (29km) wide, and a mile (1.6km) deep! Take a guided tour of the South Rim, which includes a stop at the National Geographic Visitor Centre Visitors where students can take part in interactive exhibits to learn about the Grand Canyon, and then watch an IMAX movie. The Grand Canyon is sure to be a top highlight of your tour.
