What are Tasks?

A Task is a user or system generated job for you or someone else to do on Spirit. A large part of your working time will be spent completing various tasks found within Spirit, Whether this be typing up quotes, sending them out, asking for or typing up a re-cost or requesting an option. There are a wide variety of different task subjects you will be faced with.

When on a lead, there is Task tab which will list all of your tasks to done. Each task will usually have notes, associated with it which can be found by expanding the task by clicking the small down arrow to the right of the task. From the expanded view you can see the task type, who the task is for, when it is due, as well as any notes or attachments. It is also possible to set a reminder on a task, this will email the owner of the task at the time and date set which is useful if the task requires the attention of the person at a certain time.

Spirit Task View

It is possible to view all of the tasks assigned to you by visiting the task view on spirit. This is a great way of checking everything at a glance, allowing you to see what is due without clicking into each individual lead. The tasks can be sorted in a number of ways such as by task type, due date, institute name, etc. It is worth checking this view regularly to make sure you havent missed anything important.
