The Roald Dahl Museum and Story Centre

Stories continuing to bring timeless thrill and excitement to students almost 60 years after he published his first novel there truly is no other children’s author to rival Roald Dahl. The Roald Dahl Museum and Story Centre is situated in Buckinghamshire, London and celebrates the legacy of Roald Dahl, the world’s number one children’s storyteller. The award-winning museum welcomes over 10,000 school children each year and features three interactive galleries, including the Boy Gallery, Solo Gallery (including Dahl’s Writing Hut) and the Story Centre.
The museum offers fully-guided sessions, including exploration of the galleries, and Dahl’s writing methods, hands-on activities and a literacy workshop in Miss Honey’s classroom. There are seven swashboggling workshops to choose from, suitable for ages 7-14.
The museum aims to inspire creativity, and students will be encouraged to play with language, create gloriumptious characters and playful plots in the Story Centre.
