Regarded as a must visit in Shanghai, Yùyuán Gardens is a beautifully serene and picturesque area offering pools packed with fish, shaded alcoves and interesting rockeries. The gardens also boast fragrant spring and summer blossoms throughout the changing seasons and a selection of towering trees including magnificent dawn redwoods. Next to the gardens is a bazaar, a bustling market area selling food, gifts, and other items. This visit is a great opportunity for your students to experience traditional Chinese design and architecture.
