Seujet Dam
Show all photos
The works at Seujet Dam are built on the bed of the Rhone, between the bridges of Coulouveriere and Sous-Terre. The development includes a dam with two channels, a lock on the right bank and a hydroelectric factory on the left bank.
The whole construction includes a fish ladder with 21 pools and a pathway for beavers. The dam also produces up to 20GWh per year, equivalent to nearly 1% of electricity consumption in Geneva.
Guided tours last approximately 1hr30mins.
