Reichstag
Show all photos
Currently one of Berlin’s biggest attractions, The Reichstag is one of Berlin’s most historic landmarks and has been witness to a number of significant events.
Left in disuse after World War II, the Reichstag has been restored to its former glory by the world famous architect Sir Norman Foster who constructed a striking glass dome and roof terrace over the plenary hall which offers incomparable views of Berlin’s parliamentary and government quarter. The striking glass dome symbolises the transparency of the democratic process in Germany and how much it has come on since its darker days throughout much of the 20th Century.
