NaFilM: National Film Museum

Located in the centre of Prague, NaFilM offers a practical and engaging introduction to the history and techniques of film, providing students with an opportunity to explore the development of cinema through interactive exhibits and hands-on activities.
The museum's layout encourages exploration, with each section focusing on a different aspect of film-making, from early experiments with motion to modern digital production.
Workshops and guided sessions are available for school groups and can be tailored to suit specific learning objectives or topics of study.
Available Educational Programmes:
- Guided Tour - 90 minutes
- Guided Tour with Workshop - 2 hours 15 minutes.
In addition to the basic guided tour, students experiment with recording audio over selected film samples and create an animated film to take home with them.
- Guided Tour with Virtual Reality Experience - 3 hours
In addition to the basic guided tour, students explore pre-animation techniques and experiment with creating optical instruments (three-dimensional holographic projections)
