Take a full day excursion to Ostia Antica. An ancient town founded as a colony by the fourth king of Rome, around the year 620 BC. During this excursion you will explore what remains of the town, the most visible being the old 'Castrum', which stood as a Roman military base. The town also holds remains of the theatre, mill, baths and town square.
