The Natural History Museum is a must for any educational trip to London. Housed in a fantastically impressive building the contents of the museum itself is even more impressive! This engaging museum aims to help students enjoy and understand the natural world around them and how this has changed over history. As well as mammals, marine life, fishes, amphibians and reptiles, students can also marvel at their most famous residents; our pre-historic predecessors the Dinosaurs. Students will be amazed by the museum’s whopping 80 million natural history artefacts from creatures little and large to meteorites. This broad and comprehensive collection is sure to develop your groups' knowledge of subject areas such as ecology, volcanology and climate change. The huge number of exhibitions and artefacts throughout the museum will amaze and engage your students, promising to deliver some facts that they’ll be bursting to share in the classroom!
