The National Museum of Computing, located at Bletchley Park, explores the history and development of computing. A guided tour takes students through exhibits showcasing early codebreaking machines, mainframe computers, and modern digital technology.

 Students can see working examples of historic computers, including the Colossus, the world’s first programmable electronic computer. The tour highlights key advancements in computing, the role of technology in wartime intelligence, and the evolution of modern computing.

Curriculum Enrichment

 A visit links to subjects such as computer science, mathematics, and history. Themes including coding, cryptography, and technological innovation can be explored through interactive exhibits and guided discussions.
