The Cheveniers plant dates back to 1993 and is the third biggest electricity producer in the canton of Geneva.

The plants treats and recycles urban, agricultural, industrial and special waste according to the principles of sustainable development. Annually, the plant treats around 250,000 tons of waste, which is essential to protect the environment.

Guided tours last approximately 1hr30mins.
