Recently renovated the Jewish Historical Museum recounts the catastrophes and triumphs of Amsterdam’s Jewish community. The museum explores the pre-war and wartime Jewish experience, and follows the post-war Jewish community of Amsterdam to its current, robust population of 15,000. It has two permanent exhibitions as well as regularly changing temporary exhibitions. The museum will leave students with an acute impression of Amsterdam’s Jewish community and its history.
