This sanctuary based in Gweek near the southern tip of Cornwall is a fantastic visit for students of all ages, allowing them to experience the important work of marine conservationists in the UK. The experience offers school groups the chance to get up close and personal with the injured seal pups in the sanctuary’s care, discovering more about these fascinating, intelligent creatures. In addition, the sanctuary offers downloadable learning resources on marine conservation, aquatic food chains and the eco-systems of the ocean, allowing your group to continue learning back in the classroom.
