The Granada Cathedral is an excellent example of Spanish renaissance and gothic architecture. It took approximately nearly 200 years to build the impressive structure which sits on top of a former mosque. There are a number of masterpieces to be found in the cathedral from some of the great artists of the Spanish Renaissance period.
