Dinan
Dinan is one of the most attractive and well preserved medieval towns in Brittany. With nearly 2 mile-long ramparts, half-timbered houses, a popular port and cobbled streets, Dinan is a town bursting with historical and cultural sites. A major highlight in the calendar for Dinan, is the Fête des Remparts, a festival with takes place every other year which transforms the town and allows you to travel back to medieval times. Your students can take part in a "Jeu de l'Oie" to discover the town and round up the session with a summary of Dinan's main attractions by the guide leading the activity. An interactive exhibition is also a great way to learn about the town and its history. Market day -Thursday- is also a popular time to visit, with a number of stalls selling mouth watering food!
