Cosmo Caixa Science Museum
Located just off Avinguda del Tibidabo, Cosmo Caixa was Spain's first interactive museum, and selected Europe's best museum in 2006. Cosmo Caixa is one of Barcelona's most rewarding museums, dedicated to science and innovation, stimulating knowledge and opinion of science through permanent and temporary exhibitions alongside a wide variety of activities.
Guided tours are available for this inspiration museum, with beautiful modern architecture, the museum is just as fascinating as its contents. As you and your students enter Barcelona's natural technical museum, you will be amazed at the beautiful 300 year old giant Acariquara tree extending from ground floor right up to the top! The recently refurbished science museum has many collections, some of these feature: plant life, insects, rocks, meteorites, brain tissue and even dinosaur fossils! One the permanent exhibtions incluldes a flooded Amazonian forest and a large geological wall. Without any physical or conceptual barriers, the museum encourages hands-on learning, mental and culteral interaction with the exhibits.
Altogether more hands-on is the Touch, Touch! exhibit, where you are invited to get tactile with creatures and flora from different ecological zones. This could mean holding spiders from the jungle or stroking lizards from the desert.

Clik and Flash
interactive based exhibition, uses games to encourage students learn about science in a fun manner, Clik uses play, observation and deduction through the senses. Flash uses technology to showcase exploration, construction and electricity and enviroments.
