After an amazing £3.1m renovation this museum re-opened its doors in December 2012. The museum offers a plethora of experiences and opportunities for your students from guided workshops and film screenings to self-guided tours and a host of special events, promising to engage students of all ages. Students can embrace their own creativity and channel this on a fantastic exploration around the house of one of the greatest and well-known novelists of all time. The museum offers a wide range of curriculum-based activities catering for students of all ages; from KS1 all the way through to A-Level. Boasting over 100,000 objects and artefacts this fabulously preserved and renovated museum promises to offer something for everyone and engage groups of all ages!
