The museum presents students with an overview of the historical and artistic vicissitudes of Venetian lace from its origins to the present day. Located on the island of Burano in Piazza Galuppi, the Lace Museum is situated in a Venetian Gothic building where the historic Lace school was once located. The exhibition, curated by Doretta Davanzo Poli, provides an overview of the history and development of lace in Burano from the 16th to the 20th century.
