Botanical Gardens and Museu Blau

The Botanical Gardens are home to 1,350 species, which are grouped together in a recreation of their natural ecosystems. The Gardens features a wide variety of plant specimens from countries with a Mediterranean climate, displaying great similarities between the landscapes of other countries such as California, Chile, Australia and South Africa. The Gardens are constantly evolving, dynamic space and new species are grown every year in the nurseries and then planted out in the grounds. The Gardens are the ideal place to grow and exhibit plant species that are under threat.
