Operating in the same way as the Bank of England, Belgium’s National Bank offers guided tours which offer your students insight into the bank and its role. These tours will allow your students to explore and understand topics such as:

  • The history of the National Bank and means of payment
  • The role and functions of the National Bank
  • The role of money in the economy ad the operation of the financial markets and payment systems
  • Money as a cultural phenomenon

These tours will help your students to understand the differences and similarities between banks and payment systems in the UK and Brussels and the role that the EU plays in regulating these organisations.
