The Arriaga Theatre is one of the landmarks of Bilbao. Standing at the entrance of the Old Town, it is the cultural icon of the city. Built in 1890, it has been designated as a historical monument. A tour around the theatre lasts roughly 50 minutes and takes you to all corners of the theatre. During this time you will learn all about the history and construction of the theatre, as well as seeing what happens behind the scenes during a typical show.
