Situated just a few miles from Utah beach and many of the Normandy landing grounds, the Sainte Mere Eglise Airborne Museum is the largest museum in Europe dedicated to the American paratroopers of the 82nd and 101st Airborne Divisions, who were involved in the Normandy landings in 1944. The museum contains many exhibits that all cover different stories from the landings. A visit here is sure to get your students engaged and interested in the history that surrounds this region.
