Filmpark Babelsberg

Filmpark Babelsberg offers school groups an insight into the world of film and television production. Situated on the grounds of one of the world’s oldest film studios, the park provides an opportunity to learn about different aspects of the film industry, from set design and special effects to stunt performances and animation.

Students can explore themed attractions, see behind-the-scenes demonstrations, and take part in guided tours that explain the filmmaking process. Live shows and interactive exhibits help to illustrate the techniques used in film production, making it a suitable visit for those studying media, performing arts, or related subjects.

Workshops, allowing students to participate in a film shoot, are also available.

Duration:  approx. 5h (plus 30 min. break)

Each participant gets an important job in front of or behind the camera, film professionals will supervise the shoot, support and show students exciting tips and tricks! Your film clips will be cut together by the professionals into a real film and then sent to your home.
