1972 Olympic Park & Stadium Tour (closed until 2026)

The 1972 Munich Olympics often became synonyms with the 'Munich Masacre', as it played out the most unwelcome Olympic Story in history as the stage for a terrorist attack. However, the venues that exist today are superb examples of architecture and to this day remain a legacy model that is as much part of this city as anything else.
Take a tour of the superb facilities at the centre of which is the amazing Olympic Stadium and Munich TV Tower. Learn about their design, construction and use during and after the Olympics.
The Olympic Tower is currently closed, but is expected to reopen to visitors in mid-2026.
The Stadium will close October 2025 until May 2027, however the grounds are still open so groups can wander through them; there is a free audio guide groups can download via app stores.
