All airlines have different rules on what baggage is included in base pricing and what can be taken onboard. Below is an outline of the baggage guidance for airlines we use most frequently for our school trips.

Easyjet

Cabin Bags

Everyone can bring one small cabin bag per person on board for free.

Dimensions of an Easyjet Small Cabin bag
  • It can be a maximum size of 45 x 36 x 20 cm (including any handles or wheels) and needs to fit under the seat in front of you.
  • Your bag can weigh up to 15kg, but we do ask that you’re able to lift and carry it yourself.

*Easyjet give an option to add a larger cabin bag to bookings, however these are severely limited and often cost the same or more than hold baggage, as such not suitable for group bookings.

Hold Luggage

For most trips, we recommend groups add on hold luggage.

  • We include a price to add hold luggage to your trip, on your quote.
  • We usually tell you the price for a 15kg bag, which is big enough for almost all trips.
  • Please note the price quoted is subject to change by the airline, until they are booked.
  • Hold bags are determined by weight, not size.

You can see full guidance on the Easyjet website, here.

Long Haul

For long-haul trips, including the USA, you will almost always have a checked-in hold bag included in your price. Each airline is different on the size and weight limits, and your Operations Coordinator will be able to advise accordingly. Please check your quotation prior to booking to ensure you are happy with the baggage inclusions, and enquire with your Educational Tour Coordinator if you are unsure.

Other Airlines

For all other airlines, the inclusions will often be listed on your quotation. if you are unsure what is included, please enquire with your Educational Tour Coordinator.
