Trips Improve Exam Results

The Independant School Council (ISC) has reported that activities such as school trips improve students exam results.

A study of 508 private schools found that the number of pupils acheiving GSCE grade B and above was linked to the number of extra-curricular activities on offer, which include school trips.  David Lyscom of ISC stated "This new research now shows how important extra-curricular activities can be in underpinning academic acheivement".  These findings are supported by the Department for Children, Schools and Families.
