The Background

We understand that safety and risk assessing your tour is top-of-list when it comes to organising your school trip. This is why we have invested more money and resources than ever in safety management. Our approach is designed to make your life as a teacher or EVC as stress free as possible whilst organising your school trip.

We have launched our new school trip safety management protocol – TourTrust.

TourTrust will offer new levels of transparency and access to information for teachers when planning school trips. We are actively developing our resources in this area. We will continue to provide ways of helping you gain the information you need to help organise safe school trips and satisfy the various requirements from your side.

What about Learning Outside the Classroom (LotC)?

We have historically held the Learning Outside the Classroom (LOtC) Quality Badge since 2011. We take all areas of Health and Safety very seriously and operate a rigorous Safety Management System relating to all our educational tours. We recently decided to part ways with the School Travel Forum, and, as they are the awarding body of the LOtC Quality Badge, we are currently unfortunately unable to renew our badge from January 2024 onwards.

We have a robust risk management system, TourTrust in place and can provide all evidence and audits relating to your tour on request. In addition, we have a very experienced and established management team who can complete all required External Provider Forms by return.
