The vast collections within the Capitoline Museums officially date back to the late 1400’s when a collection of bronze statues was gifted to the Roman people by Pope Sixtus IV. Today, these highly regarded museums are home to unique wealth of antique sculptures which document and represent many significant events and periods within the history of Rome. The museum’s collection is home to various forms of art and design from jewellery and sculpture to painted works, tapestries and pottery. This vast and varied collection promises to cater to each student, offering inspiration to the whole group.
