The beautiful city of Venice is a perfect destination for a school trip for artistic students.  The entire city is an extraordinary architectural masterpiece which maintains a mixture of Gothic and Byzantine styles, illustrating the age of its splendour and creating a glorious ambience. Venice is undoubtedly an artistic treasure trove housing the collections of world-renowned artists such as Bellini and Piero della Francesca.

On a school trip to Venice your students will be able to develop a more rigorous understanding of art and design and also be able to discover how art reflects and shapes history and contributes to the culture, creativity and wealth of the nation. Works by Venice’s grand masters Titian, Tintoretto, Canaletto and Tiepolo can be viewed all over the city, making Venice a unique and precious repository of art. The legacy of breath-taking architecture and incredible arts lives on and can be explored at the Peggy Guggenheim Collection, the Gallerie dell’Accademia, the Ca D’Oro – Galleria Girogio Franchetti and many more!

Formed by 118 small islands, Venice boasts elegant palaces, remarkable collections of art and exceptional architectural marvels. Your students can wander through the exquisite winding streets whilst discovering delightful shops and restaurants and yet still remain surrounded by incredible artistic influences.

Your students may also have the opportunity to attend the magnificent Venice Biennale, which is one of the most prestigious cultural institutions in the world. Your students can truly experience one of the world’s most unique contemporary art exhibitions on an unforgettable trip to the alluring floating city, Venice.

A fantastic destination for a student group as it is so unique. There is so much to see and do during the day but not so much in the evenings. The transport was no frills but perfectly adequate. Transport within the destination was by regular boat bus and very easy to negotiate. Accommodation was very clean, funky designs and space for groups to chill. The location of the Generator is great, within a quiet island but only 5 mins journey to the mainland. The walking tour of the city was fabulous, we visited parts we probably couldn't find on our own and the content was very interesting. We also took the opportunity to visit the islands of Murano & Burano, an absolute must. The production of glassware on Murano is interesting and the colourful buildings of Burano such a delight. The organisation of the trip was very smooth thanks to Adaptable, definitely value for money and hugely educational. Thanks!
