Bespoke School Trips to

New York

New York is the third largest state in terms of population and is booming with history, from mass immigration to the devastating terrorist attacks on 9/11.  New York was originally settled by North American tribes who sided with the British against the French in the great effort to dominate northern America. During the American War of Independence (1775-1783), New York was in war due to high proportion of people who remained loyal to the British crown.

More present history of New York was the devastating terrorist attacks on 9/11. The city suffered a major death toll, standing at 2,996 and temporary exodus of businesses from Lower Manhattan. September 11th 2001 is a date that American history will never forget. There are numerous memorials which your students will be able to visit to further understand the devastation, heart break and destruction the terrorist attacks left on that day up until now.

A Visit to New York is the perfect trip for your history students; it will give them important insight into the effects of mass immigration, war and politics. New York has rich history and there are many places your students can visit to gain more knowledge, understanding and experience of history and politics.
