Suggested Itinerary

01

Arrive in Marrakech and transfer to the hotel near the city center. (Hotel El Andalous and Spa or similar. Dinner provided)

Depart across the plain of Haouz (stopping to see some Targa wells which follow the ancient waterways and are a legacy of Berber irrigation. The route then climbs into the High Atlas and to the valley of Ourigane). Take a walk to see a Berber village and meet the villagers before heading to an overnight gite at Ijoukak. (Full Board)

Take the winding route over the Tizi n Test pass and travel down the southern slopes of the High Atlas to the agriculture of the saffron fields. Carry onto Ouarzazate and see the hamada or rocky desert around the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou Night in a hotel near Ait ben Haddou. Auberge Les Roses du sable or similar. (Full Board)

After a morning to visit the Kasbah and walk in the Hamada Terrain, take the road up to the tops of the High Atlas Visit the Glaoui palace at Telouet, seeing the changes in types of houses from the desert type rock buildings to the pise or mud-brick of the mountains. Evening in Marrakech Hotel (Full Board)

A chance to explore Marrakech in the morning Afternoon flight from Marrakech airport. Breakfast and lunch.
