A giant tower called ‘The Cloud’ may tower over the London 2012 Olympics site it has been revealed today.

As part of a project to provide a lasting monument to the London East End, and the London 2012 Olympic Games, Massachusetts Institute of Technology have designed a giant structure so called ‘The Cloud’ which will act as an observation deck.

London Mayor Boris Johnson states he is committed to building a tourist attraction in the Olympic Park. The Cloud has been shortlisted as a candidate in the competition set up by Mayor Johnson.

The designers of The Cloud aim to raise the funds to build it by asking for micro-donations from millions of people. The design allows for the size of the structure tol evolve depending on the number of contributions.
