Kniveton Primary School in Derbyshire have been awarded after years of hard work with international schools and communities. Staff from the school collected their prize from London, and were awarded the International Link to Learn award, fending off hundreds of other entrants.

Judges were impressed by the hard work undertaken by the school over the years in building strong links with pupils in several countries from all walks of life. This has included 8 trips to Africa to build links with a Gambian School. Other links the school has forged are after trips to Barcelona, Australia, Sri Lanka, Indonesia, Russia, Egypt and China.
