2nd October 2009
After 18 months of hard fundraising, The Deepings School has been handed keys to their minibus. The money raised for the minibus was hard earned through 18 months of fashion shows, numbers club, auction, quiz events, competitions and ran a bar at events to raise the £13,500 needed to buy the minibus.

The new minibus will be used to ferry pupils between sports fixtures, music and drama events and school trips. Headteacher Chris Beckett said: “Our students benefit from this fantastic provision both during the curriculum and extra curricular time and this new addition will be gratefully received by our staff and students. It will benefit us all.”
