26th January 2012

For an exhilarating and fun school trip in 2012, why not you head over to Alton Towers and check out their two BRAND NEW rides! These two incredible attractions launch March 24th 2012, offering an even better school trip, in conjunction with optional educational input from the Alton Towers team tailored to your subject area.

The two new attractions waiting for school trips groups are called, Nemesis Sub Terra and Ice Age The 4D Experience.

Ice Age The 4D Experience cinema combines 3D footage based on the third movie in the successful series, with a breath taking variety of physical effects offering students with the ultimate 4D Experience for their next
school trip. You and your group will also have the opportunity to meet both Sid and Scrat around the Alton Towers Resort.

Nemesis Sub Terra however, is the complete opposite to the cute and loveable Ice Age attraction. This new attraction will be psychologically and physically thrilling, taking every opportunity to get your students hearts racing with fear. Taking place in the dark and intense underground this new terrifying ride is based on the back-story of the original Nemesis attraction which first opened in 1994. This ride is set to be a huge success, after Alton Towers recruited Jack Osbourne as their ‘Director of Fear’, who is well equipped for this role due to his daredevil encounters whilst filming ‘Adrenaline Junkie.’ There is already talk that Jack Osbourne may be putting a heart rate monitor at the attractions exit; just to see how scary this ride really is!

Therefore, if you want excitement, exhilaration, and unique experiences then
Alton Towers is the school trip for you. Add this excitement to an educational seminar for your subject, hosted by the professional team at Alton Towers, and this will be a school trip your group will not forget.  Contact Adaptable Travel to book your Alton Towers school trip, or your next school trip to UK, Europe or worldwide.
