2012 Sporting Legacy was the country’s first and original nationwide educational Olympic Legacy event to be launched, by the innovative school trips provider Adaptable Travel.  The decision to offer this ground breaking event has today received a massive pat on the back with the results of an official study revealing that school teachers want to be able to feel part of the 2012 Olympics, and students are inspired by the Olympics.

A recent survey by the 2012 London Olympic Education Programme has discovered that 84% of school teachers want to feel part of the London 2012 Games, and 69% of students feel inspired by the 2012 Olympics.

With record breaking numbers already signed up to attend Adaptable Travel’s 2012 Sporting Legacy event, taking place in February 2011, this new study shows why the event has been so popular.

With the 2012 Sporting Legacy approaching fast, it will offer a great opportunity to answer calls by teachers to be part of the games, and will also allow students to be inspired first hand by Olympic athletes including Sharron Davies, Daley Thompson, Derek Redmond and Jade Johnson.
