Safestay York boasts a superb location in Micklegate House, a 1752 Georgian townhouse located just 5 minutes walk from the train and bus stations and the city centre, in one of the oldest parts of York.

Students are accommodated in multi-bedded rooms with staff in twin rooms. Almost all rooms are fully ensuite.
Please note, we cannot guarantee student rooms will be located on the same floor or next to staff rooms. We always request this and do our best to ensure this is the case, but it cannot be guaranteed.
Staff Rooms
Please note, all staff rooms will be twin bedded rooms unless quoted otherwise in your quotation. We provide one single room if you have an odd number of free staff places.

The Safestay York is a fantastic option for groups from Primary school age upwards as we try to use only ensuite rooms, which are modern, clean and the hostel is located very central in York making a great base to explore the city.
